Driving Green - A Breath of Fresh Air

•Compressed natural gas is stored at distributed sites regionally throughout the US.  Additionally compressed natural gas can be stored by end of line consumers.

•Natural gas is quite volatile and although it is stored in a compressed form as the sun heats up the container it is in, the gas also warms up and tends to move to a gaseous form.  In gas form , natural gas is lost to the atmosphere through tiny leaks in valves and also though the walls of the containers themselves.  The average total loss for a given amount of natural gas is about 13% of the stored volume.
